    Also – have you read ‘With Nails’, Richard E Grant’s biography slash film diary? It’s awesome fun, and covers some behind-the-scenes on a bunch of his early films. I mention it because he talks a fair bit about the highly unusual process that Coppola put his actors through before even real rehearsals began. Recommended.

    Anyways, I think you’re spot on about this wonderful, weird movie.
