After finding either a large gold nugget or a chunk of radioactive waste, Gumby and Pokey Limbaugh are captured by INJUNS (not Native Americans but stereotypical, unflattering facsimiles) who plan to burn them at the stake without once questioning how clay has somehow come to demonic life.
Join mister X as he tries to comprehend the materialistic lust of Gumby, the festering cauldron of hate that is Pokey Imus and why the original inhabitants of this country didn’t just let the pilgrims starve…

riffer mister X takes this relic from his youth head on and discovers that what you loved a child may make you have to accept the fact that you were a pretty stupid child…and always wishes it was ULTRAMAN instead.

Complete with disembodied arms coming out of desks, a man with a pressure cooker head and a product we never get to see, “The Relaxed Wife” is a trippy prescription drug short that makes you think the makers were on something a little stronger when they made it. Fortunately the snarky, silly and deceptively crass commentary by mister X is the cure for this one.

For those who don’t know Rifftrax, it’s the new project from the guys who used to do Mystery Science Theater 3000-they make fun of sh*t and do a really good job of it, but instead of a TV show, you download their commentary as an Mp3 and play it along with the movie. These guys are an inspiration to X and Rob Boombostic (even though we started doing own own riffs in college before we knew the show existed, so don’t call us a rip-off you uppity bastard) and X is honored to write for his heroes.
